Timco Classic Multi-Purpose Screws 4.0 x 30 mm | 40030CLASS
These Classic Multi-Purpose Screws are manufactured from A2 Stainless Steel, offering all the features and superior performance of the standard Classic Multi-Purpose Screw with the added benefit of ultimate corrosion resistance. They are ideal for fixing to softwoods, hardwoods (when pre-drilled), chipboard, MDF, and plastic. Stainless steel must be used in corrosive environments or where the base material has inherent corrosive characteristics, such as Green Oak.
The double countersunk head reduces the likelihood of head shear and aids in achieving a flush finish. A 40° deep single thread provides a secure fixing with high pull-out resistance. For screws 25mm and above, a single slash reduces torque and the chance of timber splitting when inserted close to the edge. All sizes up to and including 75mm are fully threaded, while lengths of 80mm and above have a 70mm thread length. These screws require a PZ2 driver bit.
